Specific cutting room applications
- Rotating blade for first cut
To divide pork carcasses quickly and efficiently into a ham, loin and shoulder, MPS Meat Logistics has a laser-driven rotating blade in its range. The blade is fitted to a cutting surface on which the carcass is laid semi-automatically in the right position. Ergonomics and ease of working are central issues in this initial step in deboning pork carcasses.
- Blade Bone Remover
MPS Meat Logistics' blade bone remover is designed for removing the shoulder blade from the pork carcass. The machine saves on labour costs and lightens the deboner's work. The meat yield when using the blade bone remover is also higher than with manual removal. The blade bone remover can easily be added to any existing cutting room based on pace deboning.
- Head deboning line
Deboning pork heads is time consuming and labour intensive. Here, too, the added value in relation to the costs incurred determines whether deboning heads is economic. The labour costs for deboning pork heads are considerably reduced by automating this process. MPS Meat Logistics has developed a patented head deboning line for this process.
- Vertical deboning
For certain applications, it is handy to debone beef carcasses vertically. As the carcasses are processed hanging, less physical effort is required of the cutting room employee. Vertical deboning is an alternative to table deboning.
