Aeration

The choice for an aeration system is determined based on the need for oxygen in the treatment process, in combination with the operational cost price.

Marel Water Treatment will gladly advise you on the best solution for your situation.

There is a choice of two systems:

Depth aeration

Depth aeration is also known as soil aeration. Air is introduced into the water through aeration elements that are installed on the bottom of the basin. The advantage of this system is that it is very energy efficient

Surface aeration

With surface aeration, water is pushed up and transferred through the air. This way, oxygen is introduced and the water is mixed.
